Rare set of 4 antique panels forming a large headboard or a characterful wall decoration. Very beautiful decor in the chinoiserie/japonisme style: flowers, birds, and landscapes in a poetic spirit, on a brown background. Height: 150 cm. Width: 46 cm (4 adjacent panels 184 cm) Structure: wooden panel covered with canvas/fabric. Back: nailed jute canvas (old upholstery work) Period: 1940s – 1950s. Overall good condition. Signs of use and age on the back (normal for its age), decorative face well preserved and very presentable.
