For sale, a superb complete vintage desk set made of solid thuya burl wood dating from the 1930s to 1950. This set stands out for its geometric design with very graphic faceted lines inspired by the Art Deco period. Thuya burl is a noble and precious exotic wood that offers spectacular marble-like veining with beautiful reflections. Each piece is adorned with geometrically engraved patterns featuring delicate appliqués and sculpted rosettes in gilded brass. The large circular presentation tray showcases a magnificent faceted carving around its entire edge. The set includes five original pieces: a large circular presentation tray, a square box with a removable lid, a matching small faceted ashtray, and two open cups. The item is in perfect vintage condition with no cracks or missing parts. The number 105 is hand-engraved under the base of the tray.
