Pair of Art Deco marble and onyx bookends

Superb pair of Art Deco bookends (former fireplace decorations that likely accompanied a clock), made from a combination of multicoloured marbles and green and brown onyx. The geometric design highlights the natural contrasts of the materials. A hollow space of 3.5cm in depth is located at the top of the bookends, allowing for the placement of small items (stamps, paperclips, coins, jewellery, etc.). Ideal for securely holding your books in place while adding a sophisticated touch to your library or office. CONDITION: Good overall condition despite minor chips on the edges and some wear.
