Thick glass vase, Ingrid Glashütte glassware (Euskirchen, Germany)

Thick glass vase made by the Ingrid Glashütte glassworks (Euskirchen, Germany) in the 1970s. Mid-Century Modern / Pop Art style, 1970s. The term "Untramer" refers to the line of mouth-blown and hand-crafted art glass that emphasised organic shapes and vibrant colour gradients. This is a handcrafted piece of blown glass. The ruby red colour is integrated hot during the glass melting process (a technique known as "Incalmo" or hot gradient), which explains the smooth transition to the clear glass on the rest of the piece. Presence of the collection name ("Untramer") and the year of manufacture (77 for 1977). Dimensions: height - 20.5 cm, widest width - 10.5 cm, weight - 1.200 kg. Very good condition.
