3521 - whiskey or bourbon carafe - moser luxury crystal - rudolph eschler stamped, from the bar ice bottom collection created by rudolph eschler in 1934 for moser glassware, this iconic large colored crystal carafe is in good condition. No cracks, 1 tiny chip on the base of the stopper that is barely visible once put back on the carafe and traces of micro-scratches from normal use. This could, for perfectionists, be repaired by a glassmaker at a lower cost. Red-pink in color, mouth-blown and hand-cut in the 1960s, its design does not leave you indifferent with its square base giving it good stability from which 4 wide rounded flat ribs start, its straight lines and its curves. Heavy in quality, this large model is no longer manufactured. Oval stamp marked "moser 1857-1957 made in czechoslovakia". The stopper, like the carafe, bears the number 8. Height 275 mm X 131 mm. Weight 2700 g. Very careful and tracked shipping. For information, the designer rudolf eschler was one of the most famous artists of the 1930s of the prestigious moser glassworks created by ludwig moser in 1857 and who, after being recognized, will supply the greatest of this world. This designer created a large part of the pieces exhibited by the moser glassworks at the universal exhibitions of paris, brussels and chicago. These are sought after and very appreciated by collectors and auctions when they go on sale.
