Old wooden box chest

This charming wooden chest has certainly already had several lives and will be able to find a new one for sure! It is skated to perfection. He must not be under 70 years old, maybe even more. It is made of wood with metal fittings, clasp and handle. I cleaned it (brush leaching in vinegar water then generous brushing with pure vinegar, and finally injection of vinegar with a syringe into the beetle holes, this is my natural method to replace chemical deworming). It was lined with a paper inside, but it was damaged, I had to remove it, it would be nice to reupholster. It therefore remains in its juice with its various stains and marks, its many beetle holes, its corrosion on the metal, its small gaps on the wood (i plugged with wood pulp some more important gaps under the trunk). The clasp no longer allows to lock (missing key, broken mechanism it seems to me). It measures 37 cm by 24.5 cm for a height of 17 cm. It weighs just over 1.2 kg.
