Beautiful sauce boat with integrated saucer made of glazed stoneware from the monastic workshop of Fontgombault, Indre region, vintage production from the 1960s-1970s. It has a lovely round and balanced shape with a spout and handle, featuring a deep, nuanced red glaze, oxblood, enhanced with green drips and speckles, along with some bluish accents. The underside bears the incised inscription "Fontgombault" as well as a small mark "FTG". The saucer has a diameter of 15 cm, the sauce boat alone has a diameter of 13 cm, and the total length with the handle is 19 cm, with a height of approximately 5.7 cm. The piece is in very good overall condition, with only some original firing cracks under the base; one is through but glazed on top, not compromising its integrity. Weighs approximately 700-800 g.
