Superb antique mirror with parecloses. Louis XIV style, napoleon III period, it dates from the 19th century. In embossed brass and nailed to a wooden core. The central glass is beveled, framed by four elements of silvered mercury glass. The exterior frame in embossed brass is decorated with plant motifs and curved with a pearl decoration. Four palmettes connect it to the frame of the main glass. The openwork pediment lets you glimpse the mirror at the back. It has rich ornamentation with a human-shaped mascaron surrounded by volutes in its center. In very good condition, there are no cracks or traces of shock, the mirrors are all intact. There are a few mercury defects which only reinforce the charm of this small mirror which will enhance your interior. Height: 55 cm width: 32.5 cm depth: 5 cm.
