Sublime and rare complete tableware accessory set from the Art Deco period (circa 1930-1950), ideal for adding a chic, graphic, and typically vintage touch to your festive meals. This set consists of 15 coordinated pieces in deep burgundy (wine-red) glazed earthenware, enhanced with beautiful fine gold trim that highlights its geometric lines. The set includes: 1 large square trivet (dimensions to be specified in cm), featuring cut golden corners and raised grooves in the centre. 2 matching square bottle coasters (dimensions to be specified in cm), perfect for holding carafes or wine bottles. 12 rectangular knife rests (knife holders) in the shape of stable cylindrical bars. Style and condition: Although the pieces are not signed (as was often the case for tableware productions of this era from major French earthenware manufacturers), the quality of the glaze and the finesse of the gilding testify to superb artisanal craftsmanship. The overall condition is excellent for their age, the glazing retains all its brilliance, with very slight signs of normal use on the gilding. A complete set in such well-preserved condition is now difficult to find.
