Pretty Puisaye stoneware teapot with a beautiful glaze in natural shades of pinkish beige, light caramel with light gray "foamy drips" and a harmonious, well-rounded shape. It consists of the pitcher, a lid and a filter. It is a beautiful craftsmanship of throwing, shaping and glazing. It is not signed, but comes from the Mallet pottery in Saint-Amand-de-Puisaye which began to produce utilitarian ceramics in 1937. This teapot probably dates from the 50s to 70s when these natural colors were very fashionable. It is in very good condition, no cracks or chips, perhaps just a tiny chip in the spout, but most likely it is an original irregularity. It measures 20 cm in height, 24 cm with the lid, approximately 21 cm in width from the spout to the handle and approximately 15 cm in maximum diameter.
