Antique Carved Wardrobe Dated 1844 with Shaped Panels

We are delighted to offer for sale this very large continental oak wardrobe, extremely spacious and hand-carved, dated at the base 1844. A truly magnificent piece, it is a tour de force of sculpture, entirely made of oak with solid brass fittings and the original key. The top features flowers and general floral patterns, while the base is engraved with the date 1844, likely a wedding gift. It can be used as a normal wardrobe with a rail as currently installed, or I can have shelves made for it to be used for folded linen, for a price to be discussed. Regarding condition, we have cleaned, waxed, and polished it from top to bottom; there will be normal patina marks related to age and use, but overall it is in very good condition.
