Oil on canvas "Bouquet of Flowers"

A generous and luminous still life, painted in oil on canvas. Purple irises, pink and white peonies, orange roses, columbines, and blue delphiniums spill out of a painted earthenware vase, placed on a stone ledge. The brown and golden background, with worked clouds, highlights the colors, in the tradition of Flemish bouquets. The brushwork is bold and textured, with beautiful impasto on the petals. The artwork is signed "ch Loyer" in the lower right corner. It is presented in a twisted gold frame, with a burgundy fillet and a slightly aged patina, in good condition. A painting that brings warmth to a living room, an entryway, a dining room, or a bedroom. There is a small loss of paint on the upper part, see photos.
