Afra & Tobia Scarpa dining table

Artona table & Africa chairs. The Artona set designed in 1975 by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Maxalto, includes four Africa chairs in walnut, cognac leather, and brass, accompanied by a large square table of 140 cm in walnut and walnut burl. Kept in the same family since the late 1970s, it illustrates the early period of Maxalto and its return to high-level cabinetmaking where wood becomes both structure, decoration, and sculpture.
