The design of this chest of drawers from the Idee Möbel programme by Erich Stratmann for Oldenburger Möbelwerkstätten marks a milestone in 1950s furniture design. The cool material of the new striking stainless steel frame in Bauhaus design harmonises in an appealing way with the surfaces of the drawers in black, blue, white and yellow. The body with new white HPL coating forms a calm frame. Carefully refurbished, the piece of furniture shines in a very good vintage condition.
