Scandinavian teak chest of drawers with four drawers – 1970

Superb Scandinavian teak chest of drawers with four drawers dating from the 1970s. The front features four wide drawers with perfectly horizontal lines, integrated into a simple rectangular structure. The handles are deliberately discreet and integrated into the design of the fronts, emphasising this pursuit of purity characteristic of Danish and, more broadly, Scandinavian design. Made of teak, this chest of drawers offers a regular grain with shades ranging from golden brown to deeper brown. This aesthetic is part of the Mid-Century Modern Scandinavian movement, which was experiencing significant development in Denmark, Sweden, and other Nordic countries at the time.
