This item is a double salt cellar made of Quimper earthenware, a piece of artisanal and traditional table art crafted in Brittany. It consists of two distinct bowls connected by a central handle, historically intended to present salt and pepper (or other condiments) directly on the table. This model features the characteristic decorations of Breton earthenware: the famous "little Breton" sitting on one side, hand-painted in a traditional folk style, and a colourful floral and vegetal design on the other side. It has scalloped edges with a typical azure blue trim from the Quimper workshops. Dimensions: height: 4cm/bowl; diameter: 5cm/bowl. Weight: 115 grams. In perfect condition.
