Rare pair of mid-century modern vases by Gunnar Nylund, Rörstrand, Sweden, 1940s.

These pieces were made in Sweden at the Rörstrand factory and designed by Gunnar Nylund in the 1940s-1950s. This includes a small vase and a large vase called "Charmotte". The name refers to the large fragments of chamotte that have been incorporated into the vase to give it this spectacular appearance. These orange vases in a special turbine shape are very rare.
