Large vintage 1960s wooden and silver-plated metal salmon serving tray

Stunning, very large serving platter for salmon, fish, or seafood, dating from the 1960s. The head and tail are made of highly detailed, cast silver-plated metal with attractive reliefs, while the body is made of dark wood, creating a very chic combination of colors and textures. A pure mid-century style, ideal for festive buffets! 88 cm total length, platter 49 cm on its own, 19 cm maximum width of the platter, 7 cm minimum width at the tail. In very good overall condition, with minor wear to the metal, particularly at the head, and some tarnishing, which is relatively inconspicuous and quite discreet. There are a few light scratches on the platter, but nothing serious. It has a hanging system on the back for wall mounting and would also make a superb decorative piece in a vintage and chic kitchen. Weighs between 2 and 3 kg.
