Auguste herbin 1882-1960 french painter since the 1960s and until today he is represented in paris by the lahumière gallery and the denise rené gallery who regularly show his works. In the 2000s, the edition of a series of rugs after auguste herbin, signed and numbered, were produced by didier marien for the boccara gallery with the agreement of the rights holders. These rugs exhibited in france and new york, london and moscow contributed to the rediscovery of auguste herbin in the world's great artistic capitals.
