Just married. Size: 42 X 49.5 cm (including frame) Oil on board. An emotionally charged and striking mid century figurative street scene painting, executed in oil onto board. This richly coloured composition presents 2 figures, a bride and a groom, walking down a street lined with buildings. Beside them, a street lamp is shining brightly. Post-impressionist in style, there is a strong emphasis on bold colours and distinctive brushstrokes. These elements wonderfully covey the emotions of love and happiness of the couple whom presumably just got married.
