Set of 2 tubular cork and bubble glass pendants, Germany 1970s

Pair of pendant lights from Germany, 1970s. Each has a tubular body covered in natural cork, with a mottled pattern of pale cork and dark brown patches. Below the tube sits a dark metal ring that holds a round clear glass globe with small trapped air bubbles. The glass diffuses the light softly, and the cork shows a warm amber glow around the tube when lit. Each pendant is fitted for one E27 bulb and hangs on a black cable. The pair can hang at the same height or at different heights, for example over a dining table, kitchen island, bar or in a stairwell. The slim shape works well in a row, or as a staggered pair. Dimensions per pendant: height 55 cm, globe diameter 20 cm. Good vintage condition. The cork is intact, with natural variation in colour and grain. The glass is clean with no chips or cracks visible. The metal ring shows light age wear. Sold as a pair.
