Rex Armchair Niko Kralj

Rex armchair designed by Niko Kralj and produced by Stol Kamnik in Yugoslavia in the 1950s–60s. An iconic folding model of Eastern European design, recognisable by its curved wooden structure and its openwork seat/backrest. Present in the collections of MoMA in New York. Vintage example with a beautiful original patina. Perfectly stable structure, functional mechanism. Workshop stamp visible under the armrest. Signs of use consistent with age, without structural defects.
