Eames DSR Chairs Vitra – original with cushion – set of 4. Model designed in 1950 by Charles & Ray Eames - Original piece signed Vitra stamped and engraved under the seat (will always retain its value) An absolute classic of 20th-century design. These 4 Eames Plastic Side Chair DSRs are authentic pieces produced by Vitra, the only official manufacturer for Europe – Vitra label present under each shell (Weil am Rhein, Germany, 2018). Original PP (polypropylene) version, made before the switch to recycled RE plastic introduced in 2024. The PP shell offers a smoother and more uniform surface than the current version – an advantage appreciated by purists. Integrated cushion in anthracite grey boucle fabric, grey shell, Eiffel base in chrome steel. A coherent and elegant set, perfect for a dining room or living space. Detailed condition: – 2 chairs: very good condition, new Vitra felt pads. – 2 chairs: good condition, original felt pads. – 1 chair has a slight chip on the edge of the shell (see photos) – Some scratches (see photos).
