Set of chairs by Geneviève Dangles and Christian Defrance for Burov, 1950. Shells with enveloping shapes in moulded polyester covered with original red fabric. Bright colour. Very lightweight black lacquered metal base. Geneviève Dangles and her husband Christian Defrance founded their studio in 1953, and their collaboration with Burov led to the creation of iconic pieces of French design. They are in good condition, with minor stains on the fabric.
