Large cascade shelf in solid oak, Late Victorian style.

We are delighted to offer for sale this very large antique cascade shelf dating from around 1900, featuring original aged period paint. A very aesthetic, well-made, and decorative piece, it is the largest of its kind I have ever seen, measuring over 2 metres in width. Made from solid oak with pine back panels. This highly utilitarian piece can be used for a grand display of plants, books, and ornaments, with the character of an English country house, it will bring a classic and charming style to any decor. The finish is original with an honest and pleasant patina across the surface. Dimensions: Height: 127 cm, Width: 205 cm, Depth: 59 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point.
