Large counterbalance lamp by J.J.M. Hoogervorst for ANVIA, 1960s. Black counterbalance lamp designed by Hoogervorst for Anvia. The lamp can rotate 360 degrees. Due to the counterweight, the lampshade can be hung higher or lower and the shade can also be rotated. This lamp was an updated version of the 1950s lamp Anvia produced. With its round shade, you can easily see how it would fit that 1970s era with its sunken living room, shaggy carpet, and round sofa. It would give a 2026 living room some extra spice! Small signs of age and wear on the black lacquer.
