INFORMATION: This watercolour was created to illustrate the work Atlas of the Lepidoptera of France (Volume 1: Rhopalocera), published in 1944 by N. Boubée and Co. Very good condition, minor defects and foxing in the margins. Accompanied by a small tracing with additional information written by the author. (see photo).
