Curved Louis XV style commode in marquetry and gilded bronze. Elegant Louis XV style commode, curved in front and on the sides, resting on four cabriole legs. The piece features rich marquetry of precious woods arranged in a frieze, forming decorative reserves on the drawer fronts. It opens with two wide drawers without visible crossbars, highlighting the characteristic flowing line of the Louis XV style. Significant gilded bronze ornamentation: curved handles with rocaille decoration, lock entries, corner drops, and a central apron adorned with a shell and foliage. The front legs are also finished with bronze sabots. It is topped with a veined brown marble top, molded around the edges and following the curved shape of the front.
