Curved Louis XV style commode stamped R. Bacchin on a crossbeam of the frame, 20th-century work in the style of the 18th century. Curved at the front as well as on the sides, it opens with two rows of drawers without visible crossbeams and is inlaid with exotic woods in a frieze and frames. Rich bronze fittings: lock entries and rocaille handles, corner drops, apron, and feet. Top made of molded veined yellow marble, following the curve. The varnish is in generally good condition with slight wear; the marble shows no visible breaks. Suitable for a living room, an entrance, or a bedroom.
