A refined and contemporary interpretation of the traditional Beni Ouarain rug, entirely handwoven by Amazigh artisans on a traditional Berber loom. What makes this piece particularly special is its tone-on-tone geometric design. Instead of using a contrasting dark wool for the classic diamond pattern, the artisan creates the geometry through subtle variations in pile height and texture. Large interconnected diamonds gently emerge from the surface of the natural wool, producing a sophisticated three-dimensional effect that changes with light and viewing angle. The result is exceptionally calm and architectural — a rug where craftsmanship and the natural texture of the wool become the main decorative elements. Each rug is: entirely handmade on a traditional Berber loom, hand-knotted by Amazigh artisans, made from 100% natural local sheep wool, created using traditional Berber knotting techniques, woven individually, knot by knot, never mass-produced, completely unique. Colour palette: a beautifully restrained combination of natural ivory, warm cream, and soft beige. Rather than relying on a strong contrast of colours, the diamond pattern is primarily defined by texture and subtle tonal differences in the natural wool. This gives the rug depth while maintaining an elegant monochromatic appearance.
