Citroen was a most influential artist that was schooled at the bauhaus in weimar and later developed his very own unique style that remains iconic and important to date. This self portrait is a unique find and a wonderful addition to any interior or art collection. The piece is signed and dated in the bottom left corner and the name is written on the back. It remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a wonderful patina.
