Vintage Italian pendant light with variable height, lacquered in tortoiseshell style

Tortoiseshell lacquered metal pendant light, 80s, Italian design, aesthetic but also very practical thanks to its variable height, sometimes called up and down, ranging from 38 cm (50 cm from the ceiling to the bottom of the lampshade), to 140 cm. Rolly winding system, eletrolampart, patented, made in Italy. Ideal for bringing the light closer to a table for lunch, drawing, playing cards, etc. But also winding it up the rest of the time to light the entire room. Pendant light very popular in the 70s-80s.
