Very nice pressed glass vase in very good used condition from rosice glassworks, sko union. Rare model and in good condition. Design: milos filip (1926–1966) model no. 712/20 from 1960 height: 20 cm bubbles and traces inherent in glass production may be present. *** about milos filip: he belongs to the first generation of post-war designers who championed the new concept of pressed glass. He realized its potential and mass production character. In 1955 he became a designer of ubok. His first designs were made by the inwald company, with which he cooperated. Miloš filip's glass is characterized by geometric moderation and cultivated expression. In his designs he uses clear lines without decoration and substantial finishes. In 1962, filip used the opposite approach in designing a vase, which at the time was considered a very inventive thought. He died tragically at the age of 40. Throughout his creative period, he affirmed the improvement of the creative and artistic value of glass.
