We are selling a vintage ceramic soup tureen/terrine from the Fourmaintraux Courquin pottery in Desvres. This piece is signed on the underside by the ceramist Gabiel Fourmaintraux ("GF"). The piece features a black background with a speckled green and white glaze, and a superb lobster is depicted on the lid. This piece is typical of the 1950s-60s and is sought after by vintage ceramic enthusiasts. Dimensions: H: 12cm / Diameter with handles: 21cm.
