Antique blue teapot model Bryonia late 19th century Sarreguemines

Dating from the end of the 19th century, this very pretty fine earthenware teapot belongs to the BRYONIA collection from the French pottery U & C (Utzschneider & Cie). This BRYONIA model features a rich vegetal decoration of cobalt blue bryony. The teapot and its lid are in very good condition; I find no cracks or chips, just a patina of use inside with some crazing, but the charm of the piece and its beauty remain intact despite these signs of age. In fact, it is truly an achievement to have survived more than a century and several generations without the slightest flaw 💫💙💫 Inscription "BRYONIA U&C" under the teapot.
