Victorian-style coffee table or side table with a removable top. The base, with a shaped design, is made of black lacquered wood with gold floral patterns. The top, which fits onto the base, is in red and black lacquer and decorated with motifs of floral bouquets, birds, and butterflies, in the Chinese style. English craftsmanship from the 1950s.
