Hollywood Regency Wrought Iron Coffee Table with Mirror Top, France, 1950s

A glamorous Hollywood Regency coffee table from France, with a gold-coloured wrought iron frame full of decorative detail. Twisted rope swags drape along the apron, scallop shells adorn each corner, and the four elegant curved legs end in delicate scrolled feet. The top is set with an aged mirror glass panel framed by a fine gold line border. Its soft, cloudy patina gives the table a warm, antique look and catches the light beautifully in any interior. The gold paint shows wear, with the brown base coat visible in places, which adds to its authentic, lived-in character. A striking centrepiece for a living room in a classic, eclectic or Hollywood Regency style interior.
