Poul Cadovius teak wall unit for Cado, Denmark 1960s

This teak wall unit with an expository shelf was designed by Poul Cadovius for Cado in the 1960s. Its simple form provides elegance as well as very practical display and storage space. Great carpentry and versitility have been key feautres of Cadovius units. They are exteemely well built and are still in perfect shape after 60 or more years of usege. Overall set size is H: 158 / W: 164 / D: 40 cm. This set is fully modular. All elements are 80 cm wide and can be arranged as needed. Hung, lower, higher, and interchanged. Perfect for the living room, bedroom, an office, or a lobby. The expository shelf hanging on decorative solid teak rails can give you a space to highlight your favorite LP vinyl record, poster, or other piece of art. The sliding doors cabinet features an additional shelf to help you organize the inner space. The engraving “Made in Denmark” both on the shelves and brackets validates its Scandinavian origin. The unit consists of: 1 expository shelf 32 cm depth. 5 shelves 22 cm depth. A cabinet with sliding doors H: 43 / W: 80 / D: 40 cm. Three wooden rails 158 cm long. Solid teak hardware. The wall unit has been checked and rejuvinated by our team... We have ensured all components fit together well. The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and finished with a few layers of Danish oil to add protection and enhance the grain.
