Large ceramic vase 1960s Signed Masse brothers Desvres

A large vintage vase, decorated entirely by hand and with a knife, enameled in shades of pink, yellow and green with gilding to enhance. Decoration: fantastic animal and arabesques. Two large trophy-style handles. It was made by the masse frères art ceramics workshop in the town of desvres, renowned for its earthenware industry. This workshop produced pieces typically in the taste of the time. (1950-1960) style similar to monaco, vallauris, emaux de longwy, fanciful fashion of the 1960s. Very good condition, except that part of the neck has been broken and glued back on, this can only be seen up close. Height 38 cm, width with handles 24.5 cm, maximum diameter without handles 19 cm.
