Impressive lamp in vintage Scandinavian style, turned wood design with a ring.

Sold without lampshade. Magnificent table lamp, imposing, mid-century Scandinavian design style, large relatively light turned wooden base, sculpted from solid wood with a large free wooden ring. Fitting at the top, original socket and (black) wire screwed onto a washer at the top. Large vintage fabric lampshade (nylon?) in cream/white, edged with golden and brown plastic at the base and top, elongated and flattened shape. Base height of 39 cm, maximum diameter of 15 cm (ring). Wire length approximately 1 m. Can serve as a floor lamp but will also look superb on a console or dresser. Not signed. Very good overall condition, two cracks in the wood at the base, quite minor, some marks of friction and use, relatively discreet, lampshade clean. Functional. Weighs approximately 3.5 kg.
