8 blue & white dinner plates (Royal Tudor Gien Lunéville Ceraminter)

Set of 8 mismatched blue & white dinner plates in fine 'ironstone' earthenware. Vintage from the 1970s-80s, in the style of 19th century english 'transferware'. Four are english, two french and one italian: they all measure approximately 24 cm in diameter. Blue monochrome decorations of floral motifs, countryside scenes, ruins and other classic motifs such as the "blue onion". The whole is in good, even very good condition: no major accidents and almost no traces of use (scratches, friction). Any defects are indicated below and detailed in the photos. Set includes (3) english "blue onion" plates (diam. 24 cm); (2) lunéville (france) "english style" plates (diam. 24.5 cm; chips on the edge of one of the two plates); (1) royal tudor fpc plate (staffordshire, england) (diam. 23.5 cm); (1) gien plate (diam. 24 cm; a small discreet chip on the edge); (1) italian ceraminter plate (diam. 25 cm; cracked enamel).
