Minerva Teak Daybed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Søn, 1950s, Set of 2

This set of two minverva sofas was designed by peter hvidt & orla mølgaard nielsen for france & son. The frame of the sofas is made of solid teak and has been professionally and carefully restored by removing old coatings, staining and finishing with varnish. The seats and backrests have been upholstered in a new graphite-colored fabric. In the three-seater (larger) sofa, the teak backrest has been made anew with full compliance with the dimensions and shape of the original element.
