Robin Day Chair

As an upholsterer, I restored this lovely original all-wood chair by designer Robin Day, bringing it back to life (the seat was too damaged). I took the opportunity to make it a little more comfortable by reupholstering the seat with foam and mustard-colored velvet in the same shade as the wood, so as not to clash with the overall look. The bottoms of the four legs also received a touch of color, but like the seat, I kept the same color.
