Designed in the 1960s by Juliusz Kędziorek for the Gościcino Furniture Factory (Gościcińskie Fabryki Mebli), this piece is highly sought after by collectors for its unique, sculptural form. Design & Style. The chair is characterized by its dynamic, lightweight silhouette. The distinctive, kidney-shaped backrest and widely spaced, tapered legs give it a sophisticated, almost organic look. It is a perfect example of the "Modern" style that flourished in Poland during the 1960s, drawing inspiration from Scandinavian design. Restoration & Condition. This chair has undergone a comprehensive, professional restoration in our workshop (SkarbyPRLu). Wood: The solid beech frame was stripped of old varnish, stained in a deep, elegant walnut shade, and finished with premium hard wax oil. This finish creates a beautiful satin look and a natural, velvety touch. Upholstery: The seat has been restored according to the original construction method (plywood base with new high-quality foam).
