Kai Kristiansen modern modular teak bookcase for FM Møbler, 1960s

Extremely elegant vintage modular bookcase in teak by kai kristiansen manufactured by fm mobler, in denmark in 1960s, validated by original label. This shelving system is entirely modular and can be arranged as needed, by easy system of metal brackets fitting into the metal rails. Ten shelves and three cabinets, including a bar cabinet will provide just enough space for storage, books and decorations. An additional element that makes class and elegance to the set is a shelf with fluted glass. It consists of: One bar cabinet h: 36 / w: 86 / d: 32cm with 2 shelves inside. One cabinet with sliding doors h: 36 / w: 86 / d: 32 cm. One cabinet with glass doors h: 36 / w: 86 / d: 32 cm. 8 shelves 32cm deep. 2 shelves 24cm deep. 5 metal rails 125 cm long. The set is in very good vintage condition especially after cleaning and coating with additional layers of danish oil. Minimal signs of wear. A great example of danish carpentry skills from mid 20th century.
