Sculpture Woman

This contemporary sculpture by Frédérique Thomas represents a naked woman in a dynamic, almost choreographic posture, captured in a moment of tension and movement. The body, although stylised, retains an expressive anatomy: the muscles are defined, the volumes accentuated, giving the figure a powerful and assertive presence. The woman appears caught in a restrained momentum, her legs firmly anchored on two separate bases, suggesting both balance and constraint. Her arms meet at hip height, in a protective or inward gesture, while her head is tilted to the side, the features suggesting contemplation or introspection. The treatment of the material, raw and textured, highlights the contrast between the strength of the cement and the flexibility of the female body. The polyester, on the other hand, allows for lightness and finesse in the details, particularly in the modelling of the hands and bodily expressions. Indoor or outdoor. Polyester foam and bronze-coloured coating. Weight: approximately 8kg. Dimensions: 83cm H X 50cm D X 84cm W.
