This padding is held in place by the channel stitching of the lining. The upper padding is very soft, shifts when you sit on the sofa, and changes shape over time. For the maintenance of the sofa, it is important to fluff the cushions regularly to restore volume, but it is not possible to maintain a fixed shape. Cosima will take on a rounder shape over time, and the appearance of the seams will become more organic due to the soft, comfortable padding.
