Cini Boeri (1924-2020) was one of the first post-war female designers to achieve a prominent role in postmodern furniture design and architecture. She graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1951 and later established her own studio. Throughout her career, Boeri designed numerous items for major brands, with modular sofa systems being a characteristic element of her work.
