Rare and elegant set of four H-214 model chairs, designed by the famous Czech designer Jindřich Halabala (1903-1978), an emblematic figure of Czechoslovak modernist furniture. Produced by the prestigious UP Závody workshops in Brno, these chairs perfectly illustrate the craftsmanship and aesthetic research of Czechoslovak design from the interwar period. Their silhouette is distinguished by a superb high back, slightly flared with softened angles, highlighted by a beautiful wood veneer in warm tones. The subtly curved rear legs extend to the back, providing a particularly elegant and recognizable line. The generously padded seats are covered in a red fabric with stylized patterns, creating a refined contrast with the amber tones of the wood. In very good original condition. Some signs of logical use. Shipping throughout France.
