Glazed ceramic pitcher, Atelier de Nissy, Annecy, 1960s

A glazed earthenware pitcher, signed Nissy Annecy, which connects it to the Nissy workshop opened by the ceramist René Anchierri in Annecy from 1953 to 1973. This is a rather unusual piece, with its stylized floral motifs on a creamy white background, a departure from the ceramist's usual style. A lovely piece with undeniable charm. Dimensions: Approx.
